Brad Eason

Brad was Let There Be’s first full-time employee. He came in as a consultant, brought on by Alex to help with some difficulties the company was having, then part-time when the church he worked at went through layoffs, and then permanently.

Before that he was a student minister in Boulder, a job that meant event planning, team communication, researching technology, education planning, speaking, trips, and building the systems that held all of it together. The moment he knew he fit here came on an eye care video. He was still new enough to be hesitant about giving feedback, but something in the lighting was bothering him, and eventually he said it out loud.

The light was catching the lower eyelid strangely. I said so, and the room agreed. Turns out caring about the small thing is the qualification.

He has since learned the production process end to end and enjoys tuning it with the team, and the science that stuck with him is how precisely a supplement can support a single cell. His favorite project, though, is not a science one at all. It is a run of party videos for a client’s annual event, where the team gets to be funny and musical and nobody has to clear a claim.

Outside work he is a committed tabletop gamer. He plays board games most weeks and has been running Dungeons & Dragons campaigns for years.
